Chaser Spaeth
They/Them
The only reason I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed is because I’m the one you reach for any time you need something done. (Honestly I probably live in the junk drawer or catch-all cup on your desk)
My great variety of communication and artistic skills, and adaptability with a penchant for learning on-the-go makes me a valuable asset for any team!
When it comes to art, I’m a style chameleon. Traditional, digital, paint, fiber, paper and more, my skills go beyond just being able to draw- I CREATE. Working from the ground up I also value the importance of research and prep work to establish a theme or provide direction for a team that results a successful end product.
I thrive in collaborative environments, and love using my skills to bring other people’s ideas and concepts to life. Working in small teams to execute a project, I’m able to take the lead when necessary, or be a contributing member capable of following directions in a timely manner.
In spite of, or maybe thanks to, the numerous challenges I’ve had to face concerning my chronic illnesses and physical/mental disabilities, I have learned to advocate for myself and believe in my ability to overcome almost any obstacle or ask for help when I need it.
If you asked me why I want to be an artist I would say, “Because I must.” Do we question the heart and ask why it toils ceaselessly and without expectation to keep us alive? The heart’s reason is the same as my own: I was born for this, created as I am with intention and purpose- to give life, to create, to make art.

Software and Skills
Programs I use all the time: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Procreate, Microsoft Suite

WORK EXPERIENCE
2019-2025
Shop Dixi - (Remote) Assistant Jewelry Designer
I communicate with staff at the UK location to develop jewelry designs based on a theme, in line with the established style and brand. The iterative design process goes from emails and chats to sketches, to revisions, and final artwork with specifications (if needed) which is sent to a third party modeler and manufacturer who produces the physical pieces based on my artwork.
2014-Present
A Series of Steps- Generalist, Artist And Owner
Freelance art and Etsy shop focusing on enamel pins and accessories
I create artwork and spec sheets, working with a vetted overseas manufacturer to get my products made and shipped to me, where I sell and/or ship to my customers worldwide.
I also create handmade products from stuffed animals and dolls to wire wrapped pendants, even handspun yarn and other fiber creations.
I also do logo, apparel, and merchandise design for various individuals and brands on a freelance basis.
2013-2016
Painting with a Twist - Artist/Instructor/Assistant
I instructed classes of 3 to 30+ people of all ages to create and finish an acrylic painting step by step within a 2-3 hour timeframe (depending on the painting). This sometimes involved wrangling groups of children (or rowdy adults) keeping the pacing of the class on time. It was also my responsibility to keep the energy of the class upbeat and fun, working as an entertainer as much as instructor, and stepping into the Customer Service shoes as needed when helping at the front desk taking reservations and checking guests in for their class.
2013-2013
Anderson Merchandisers - Media Merchandising Manager
I worked as a representative of Anderson Merchandising at Best Buy locations around the city, occasionally working with another representative but usually handling solo the on-site distribution, organization, and inventory management of the media department (music and movies). This included setup and removal of marketing materials and displays according to specifications based on store layout and customer engagement.
2012-2013
QVC - Call Center Customer Service Representative
Answer calls and handle sensitive customer information to help them place orders over the phone; troubleshoot account and order information, frontline problem solving to reduce escalations while offering a personalized and positive customer experience.
